Maria and Zech put a lot of thought into all of the details, and it really brought the day together. Maria did what every bride should- clarify what was really important to her, and focused on prioritizing those details. They also tried wherever possible to support small businesses, and to call on friends and family to help pull the wedding together. It was wonderful to see a community of people chime in to help make the day special- Zechariah’s mom is a cake baker and decorator and made their cake. The caterer was a dear friend. The day-of-coordinator was another sweet friend!

Saint Joseph Orthodox Church is located on the west side of Houston. It’s an Antiochian church known by the local Orthodox community for its stunning iconography. What a blessing to get to photograph in this space!

Y’all, I am really sad I didn’t get to eat more of this cake! It just melts in your mouth. I love that it tied in all of the wildflower motifs in the wedding too!

Congratulations to two of my very dear friends! God grant you many years!
